A Date With Asiago

I bought dates thinking I would use them to bake into bread. I started eating some asiago cheese while slicing them, trying to think of a recipe. Needless to say, the marriage of the two wasn’t far away. I stuffed the dates with the cheese, popped them in the oven at 250˚ for five minutes, and there you have it, a recipe that created itself. A perfect little appetizer. A date with asiago.
